benefits in kindThe Inland Revenue have become increasingly interested in the provision of living accommodation to employees. If an employee receives living accommodation as part of their remuneration it maybe that they are receiving a benefit in kind. Tax and NI will be due in these circumstances on all the benefits provided by the School to the employee.

p11dThe Beattie Partnership is able to provide a schedule setting out the values of all the accommodation to be used as the basis for any benefit provided to employees of the school.

The practice has developed a managed service for keeping track of all benefits provided to employees showing the periods of occupation for each employee and any changes in occupancy together with the sum of all benefits received during any particular tax year.
